Treelion proudly presented its latest innovative CATM Platform alongside cutting-edge green tech solutions at the Asian Financial Forum (AFF) 2024, held on January 24th and 25th, as part of the FintechHK Startup Salon.
Nominated by Cyberport and the FSTB (Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau), Treelion’s participation at AFF 2024 aimed to spotlight its technological advancements in the sustainability sector, specifically focusing on green assets trading and promoting web 3.0 digital transformation. The company’s presence included an exhibition at the FintechHK Startup Salon and active involvement in a pitching session, where Treelion introduced its latest carbon credit trading solutions, notably the CATM Platform, to a global audience of influential leaders from government, finance, and business communities.
Treelion’s innovative technologies showcased at AFF 2024 further solidified its position as a key player in the fintech landscape, demonstrating its commitment to driving innovation and sustainability within the industry.
About CATM Platform
Developed by Treelion, the CATM Platform is an innovative solution for the carbon market. It uses blockchain technology to tokenize CCER (Chinese Certified Emission Reduction) and facilitate the efficient flow of carbon credits. In CATM Platform, carbon credits are circulated and traded on the blockchain in the form of digital assets, which greatly improves the efficiency and transparency of the market.
The CATM Platform recently achieved the third prize in the “Digital Right” Track at the Hong Kong regional competition of the “2023 National Web 3.0 Innovation Hackathon,” underscoring its innovative approach and potential transformative impact on the carbon credit trading landscape. Treelion will continue to promote the CATM Platform under different standards and regulatory environments, and gradually develop it into a global carbon trading platform.

Jointly organised by the HKSAR Government and the HKTDC, the 17th Asian Financial Forum served as the region’s premier platform for groundbreaking discussions on the global economy from an Asian perspective. The forum brought together pioneers from various industries to analyze the current hot topics such as Web 3.0 finance and virtual asset applications, the future of fintech, green finance and new market trends, and to explore the potential opportunities in today’s financial environment.
