Product Introduction

Carbon Ledger

Using blockchain, big data, artificial intelligence and other cutting-edge technologies, Treelion has launched the “Carbon Ledger” dual-carbon eco-chain integrated service platform, which establishes carbon accounts/carbon ledgers for enterprises, governments and individuals, provides accounting services for carbon emissions of enterprises, assists the government in the implementation of carbon regulation, and accesses third-party carbon certification institutions, providing comprehensive services for the entire eco-chain of the dual-carbon business. At the same time, relying on the standardised “Carbon Gateway” technology, we connect with carbon emission trading centres and green finance institutions to provide one-stop services for carbon trading and carbon finance.

Product Features

Comprehensive Carbon Supervision to Support Dual Carbon Goals

Local governments can urge enterprises to reduce carbon emissions through policy formulation, carbon emission verification, supervision, asset evaluation, carbon trading, and green finance support. This facilitates the development of the carbon market and achieves comprehensive carbon supervision, aiding in the attainment of dual carbon goals.

Complete Carbon Accounts + Blockchain Ledger

Utilizing Xinghuo BIF’s distributed carbon ledger covers individuals, enterprises, institutions, parks, and local governments at all levels. It supports hierarchical management and ensures credible carbon transactions and protection of carbon assets through smart carbon contracts.

Comprehensive Factor Library + Privacy Accounting Engine

The factor library supports various standards and eight major emission industries, offering switchable exclusive and shared functionalities. A privacy accounting engine ensures data accuracy and security.

Full Boundary Support + Complete Lifecycle Coverage

Carbon auditing supports the management of multiple factories, workshops, production lines, and nodes within enterprises, achieving carbon footprint accounting for all stages of product production.

Online Certification with Multi-Institutional Cooperation

The certification of enterprise carbon emissions and product carbon footprints supports online verification by third-party certification institutions.

Intelligent Carbon Gateway

Utilizing smart gateway technology to connect monitoring devices, ERP, and C2P improves the speed of enterprise emission reduction. It also promotes carbon trading and green finance through trustworthy blockchain technology.

Application Scenarios

Government - Dual Carbon Governance Platform for Government Regulatory Agencies

1. Gain an understanding of the regional carbon status and clarify the carbon inventory within the administrative area.
2. Support the operation of “carbon quotas” for regulated enterprises. 3. Offer a large data screen feature, facilitating display in government regulatory departments.
4. Provide a function to view enterprise carbon ledgers, aiding in regulatory work.
5. Offer functions for issuing announcements, and for the public display and download of policy documents.
6. Support senior supervisory units in viewing and regulating the carbon ledgers within their administrative region.

Enterprises - Dual Carbon Business Platform for Enterprise Users

1. Understand the enterprise’s own carbon status and clarify the company’s carbon inventory.
2. Receive “carbon quotas” issued by regulatory departments.
3. Offer two core capabilities: carbon emission accounting and carbon sink accounting, ensuring data authenticity by recording on the blockchain.
4. Support automatic generation of reports to improve work efficiency.
5. Provide a large data dashboard function to understand one’s own carbon trends and make carbon-related decisions.
6. Receive notifications, announcements, policy documents, etc., issued by regulatory departments.

Certification Bodies - BaaS Platform for Third-Party Certification Institutions

1. Within the carbon certification platform, third-party verification agencies can access enterprise carbon accounts bound to their own institution.
2. When conducting carbon investigation activities, they can view the enterprise’s carbon ledger, including the detailed accounting of carbon emissions and carbon sequestration.
3. Certification results are notified to the enterprise, which can then take appropriate actions until the certification is approved, after which the data is stored in the enterprise’s carbon ledger.

Project Case Studies

Liangjiang New Area Carbon Account Platform Construction

Carbon Ledger was implemented in Chongqing’s Liangjiang New Area, progressing through a “three-step” framework. The first step involved 32 controlled emission enterprises and over 600 non-controlled emission enterprises within the jurisdiction connecting to the platform. The second step included the connection of enterprises, public institutions, hospitals, and schools within the area. The third step involved integration with the Chongqing United Exchange to promote carbon trading and connection with financial institutions to boost green finance initiatives.
