On November 30th, a Tsinghua delegation led by Liu Yi, the Dean of the School of Environment of Tsinghua University and the Research Institute for Environmental Innovation Tsinghua (RIET), and Me Xin, the Vice Dean of RIET, came to the Elion Group’s headquarter. Accompanied by Lu Qi, Treelion’s CEO, the delegation visited and learned about the projects of the Elion Group and Treelion. After the visit, the MOU signing ceremony was held by Zhao Jinling, the Elion Group’s Vice President and Executive Director.
Liu Yi, the Dean of the School of Environment of Tsinghua University, expressed that he was very optimistic about Treelion’s overall business model and development plan. He hoped that both parties could complement each other and grow together, and collaborate pragmatically in areas such as carbon neutrality and ecological restoration. The two parties will establish comprehensive, in-depth and long-term strategic partnerships in key layouts such as business development, product development, technology upgrades, investment and financing, and industrial funds.
During the ceremony, Zhao Jinling, the Elion Group’s Vice President and Executive Director highly praised the professionalism of environmental protection and treatment of the School of Environment of Tsinghua University. He hoped that the two parties could collaborate on some major projects in the fields of land desertification treatment, ecological restoration in the Yangtze River Basin and in the Yellow River Basin, and environmental and resource governance. He indicated that both parties should actively leverage their advantages to encourage innovation and development.
Treelion and the School of Environment of Tsinghua University will provide resources and advantages in their respective fields and work hand in hand to carry out technological development, model exploration and policy formulation of carbon neutrality with Chinese characteristics, and strive to become an important pillar of China’s carbon neutrality cause.
